Jakarta - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) highlighted irregularities in the use of state budget in regions. He was hoping in 2010 all head of the regions can be wise in using it.
"Frankly, I still feel concerned that today there are still cases of state budget deviations, especially at the regional level," said SBY.
This was stated by SBY in a speech during the Delivery of Issuance of Spending Authority (DIPA) Year 2010 at the State Palace, Jl. Medan Merdeka Utara, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/1/2009).
For that, said President further, given the large amount of state budget flowing into regions, local governments are expected to be able to use it properly.
"I asked earnestly to avoid wasting and misuse," he added.
In his speech, SBY also explained the amount of budget transferred to regions, in the form of Balanced Fund and Special Autonomy and Adjustments Fund, continue to increase.
The total Balanced Fund reached Rp 306 trillion, while Special Autonomy and Adjustments Fund is Rp 16.4 trillion. Balanced Fund are made up of Revenue Sharing of Rp 81.4 trillion, General Allocation Fund of Rp 203.5 trillion, and the Special Allocation Fund of Rp 21.1 trillion.
